Keep warm with free home insulation

Latest news from the Lancashire Evening Post

Latest news from the Lancashire Evening Post

Residents in West Lancashire can cut their bills by applying for free home insulation.

The West Lancashire Council scheme is available to households on benefits, for lofts and cavity walls.

Coun Val Hopley, portfolio holder for landlord services, said: “The scheme has already helped hundreds of people and it is a great way to save money and make our homes greener.

“By reducing heat loss we reduce the amount of fossil fuels burnt.

“The best way to do this is by insulating our homes properly. This helps us do our bit for the environment, as well as
creating a much warmer, more pleasant home to live and saving money in the long run.”
