High value jewellery was stolen from sales reps during a robbery in a hotel car park in Bamber Bridge.
The incident at the Holiday Inn Express in Reedfield Place happened at around 8.30am on Monday, September 30.
The victims, both aged in their late 20s, had stayed at the hotel overnight and were planning to attend a meeting that morning.
They got into a black Peugeot 3008, when they were approached by two or more men in a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a silver Honda Civic.
The men smashed the rear window of the Peugeot and stole two bags of jewellery. The victims were not injured.
The offenders left the scene in the Vectra and Civic, driving to Cuerden Valley Park car park at the end of Factory Lane in Whittle-le-Woods, Chorley at 8.45am.
Both cars were set on fire and two men ran from the burning cars to a waiting grey BMW 1 series, parked near to St John’s Church on the A6 Preston Road, at Whittle-le-Woods.
The BMW, driven by a third person, made a U-turn in the road before driving off in the direction of Chorley and onto the M61 towards Manchester.
