A woman who threatened to smash a man’s windows despite having a restraining order has been jailed for a total of 12 weeks.
Susan Maria Bernadette Heron, 42, of Yewtree Avenue, Ribbleton, Preston, admitted breaching the order.
Her crimes put her in breach of a conditional discharge she had received for assaulting police and criminal damage, and a suspended jail term she received last year for smashing the same man’s windows.
She had smashed his windows twice before, in July 2012 when she caused £500 damage, and in December 2011.
She had also assaulted him in July last year, the court heard,
Heron admitted another charge of failing to surrender to custody.
The bench, sitting at Preston Magistrates Court, said custody was appropriate because she was unable or unwilling to receive help, and had committed similar offences.
They jailed her for eight weeks but activated four weeks of the suspended jail term she had breached.
