Robbery sentence
A 16-year-old boy who pleaded guilty to the robbery of a 76-year-old woman will be sentenced next month. The Heysham boy was charged with robbery after the elderly woman had her handbag stolen from her on Kilnbank Avenue in Morecambe on September 22. He pleaded guilty to the offence before Lancaster Magistrates Court and will now be sentenced on October 16 when he will appear before Preston Crown Court.
