Firearm and drugs charge

A Ribbleton man will appear at Preston Crown Court next week charged with possession of a firearm and possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply. Martin Parkinson, 28, of Acacia Road, Preston, was charged with the offences following the seizure of a dismantled 12-gauge shotgun from an allotment. He will appear at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday.

Man breached his court order

A Leyland man has been told to attend 30 hours of probation meetings after breaking a community order. Stephen Davidson, 21, of Bannister Drive, was found guilty in his absence of breaching an order originally imposed for theft.
