Driver did not wear seatbelt

A motorist has been told to pay out more than £300 after he was caught driving while not wearing a seatbelt.

Steven Kitching, 39, of Countess Way, Euxton, near Leyland, was proved guilty in his absence at South Ribble Magistrates’ Court of the offence on August 7 last year.

Fined over no TV licence

A woman caught watching TV without a licence has been told to pay £165.

Anne Dawson, 59, of Ashmoor Street, Preston, was proved guilty in her absence at South Ribble Magistrates’ Court of the offence in 2012.
