Court seizes class B drugs
Magistrates in Preston gave Johnathan James Leniewski, 32, of Waldon Street, Callon, Preston a nine month conditional discharge after he admitted possessing snap bags of cannabis. The bench ruled he must pay a £15 victim surcharge and forfeited the drugs.
A man has admitted being drunk and disorderly to magistrates. Shu Nung Lok, 52, of Fylde Road, Ashton-On-Ribble, Preston, Lancashire, must ay a £60 fine, £20 surcharge and £45 costs.
Fine over drugs
A man has been fined £180 after admitting possessing cannabis and cocaine. Mark Unsworth, 33, of St Andrews Road, Preston, was ordered to pay a £20 surcharge and £50 costs.
Woman gets six license points
A woman was fined £220 and made to pay a victim surcharge of £22 after failing to name the driver of a car. Mrs Jean Bromilow, 56, of Daisy Meadow, Bamber Bridge, Preston, appeared at Chorley Magistrates Court and her license was also endorsed with six points.
Drink driver gets court road ban
A motorist who drove while more than double the legal alcohol limit has been banned for 23 months. Shaun Smith, 46, of Shelley Road, Ashton-On-Ribble, Preston, pleaded guilty and was given nine months supervision by Preston magistrates. He must pay a £60 surcharge.
Man admits he possessed drug
A man has admitted possessing cannabis. Owen Anthony Whitesmith, 18, of Glebe Close, Fulwood, Preston, appeared before Preston Magistrates Court. The bench ordered him to complete 30 hours at an attendance centre. He must also pay a £60 surcharge and £85 costs.
Work order for motorbike thief
A man who stole and damaged a Kawasaki motorbike has been banned from the road for a year and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. Daniel Matthew Butler, 25, of West Park Avenue, Ashton-On-Ribble, Preston, admitted the offence to magistrates and must pay £500 compensation.
A woman has been fined £37 by Preston Magistrates Court after admitting being drunk and disorderly in a Preston street. Kelly Littlechild, 34, of Morris Road, Ribbleton, Preston, must pay a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.
Liam Cairns, 24, of Fox Street, Preston, has been given a 12 month conditional discharge by magistrates after he admitted stealing a bottle of vodka from an Iceland supermarket.
