Take part in health event

A mental health public debate will take place on Tuesday November 27 at the Preston Council for Voluntary Service Unit in the Guild Hall arcade on Lancaster Road, Preston.

The public debate will discuss people’s mental health and the mental health of others and will feature speakers from Asylum Magazine.

A panel of speakers air their views followed by a group debate in the second hour. It will take place from 6pm to 8pm.

Correction

A newspaper bill which went out in the Longridge area yesterday suggested that a Longridge footballer has appeared in court charged with attacking opponents.

In fact the Longridge player was the victim of the attack by a player from another team.

We are happy to correct this error and apologise for any embarrassment caused.
