Correction
A newspaper bill which went out in the Longridge area yesterday suggested that a Longridge footballer has appeared in court charged with attacking opponents.
In fact the Longridge player was the victim of the attack by a player from another team.
We are happy to correct this error and apologise for any embarrassment caused.
