Man fined over crack cocaine
Jordan Lee Murray, 19, of Ripon Street, Plungington, Preston, has been fined £100 after pleading guilty to possessing crack cocaine. He was found in possession of the drug on September 2. Murray was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs by Preston Magistrates Court. The drugs were forfeited and destroyed.
Court for thief
Tony Dean Kirkham, 31, of New Hall Lane, Fishwick, Preston, admitted stealing £247 food from a Booths supermarket and was given a 12 month conditional discharge. Preston Magistrates Court ruled he must pay a £15 surcharge and £50 costs.
