A Bamber Bridge woman is to receive £580 in compensation after a man admitted damaging her door. Magistrates told Daniel Dolan, 23, of Wigan Road, Chorley, to pay out £580 to his victim.
Speeding fine for Audi driver
A driver who admitted speeding in an Audi in a 30mph zone was fined £45. Bashir Timol, 37, of Drumacre Lane East, Longton, near Preston, had his licence endorsed with three points.
Teen jailed for four months
A teenager has been handed four months detention after breaching a rehabilitation order four times. Kieron Shepherd, 18, of Merlin Grove, Leyland, admitted the breaches at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. The order was made after he entered a clothes shop with intent to steal in 2011.
Court orders man to behave
A Leyland man has admitted a breach of the peace. Steven Higginbottom, 43, of Yewlands Drive, was bound over to keep the peace for a year in the sum of £200.
Man fined for driving offence
A 20-year-old Hoghton man who drove without a licence has been fined £35. Laurence McGuigan, of Charles Crescent, admitted driving a Vauxhall Vectra.
