Uninsured driver hit with fine
A motorist caught driving without insurance has been told to pay out £745. Mark O’Shea, 29, of Maitland Street, Ribbleton, Preston, was stopped by police in New Hall Lane.
He was proved guilty in his absence at Chorley Magistrates’ Court.
Fined for phone
A man caught using his mobile phone while driving in Burscough was fined £150. Craig Parker, 38, of County Road, Ormskirk, admitted the offence at Chorley Magistrates’ Court.
A man caught with the Class A drug cocaine was fined £250. Daniel Brookfield, 26, of Tootle Lane, Rufford, pleaded guilty to Chorley magistrates.
