Drink driver had no insurance

A man who admitted drink driving in Preston city centre was banned for three years. Jack Thomas Sharples, 25, of Blackpool Road, Preston also pleaded guilty to having no insurance when he was stopped in Birley Street. He was fined £110 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

Drunk fined

Ainsley Michael Cox, 20, of Avenham Terrace, Preston was given a conditional discharge for six months by the city’s magistrates after admitting being drunk and disorderly.
