Re-sentencing after crime

A court convicted a man of failing to observe the terms of his community order. Benjamin Johnson, 29, of Lovat Road, Preston, did not attend Preston Magistrates’ Court which convicted him in his absence. He was given a 10-week jail term suspended for six months and was also ordered to attend meetings with a responsible officer for six months.

Drink man was hit with a fine

A man has been fined for being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Ernest Kasprzycki, 36, of Frenchwood Street, Preston, admitted the offence which took place in Ribblesdale Place. Preston magistrates fined him £70, with £70 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Order made for restrain breach

A man admitted breaching his restraining order. Andrezej Hinz, 37, of Watling Street Road, Fulwood, Preston, admitted the offence at Preston Magistrates’ Court. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
