Man is banned from the road
A driver has been banned from the road for getting behind the wheel while over the alcohol limit. Alexander Thompson, 26, of Lutwidge Avenue, Preston, admitted the offence and driving without insurance at Preston Magistrates’ Court. He was also ordered to pay £495.
Harassing man to pay costs
A man pleaded guilty to harassing a woman. Sean Conroy, 39, of Oxley Road, Preston, admitted the offence at Preston Magistrates’ Court. He was ordered to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work and pay £150 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Guilty plea for driver’s details
A man pleaded guilty to failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver. Justin Hargreaves, 38, of Sefton Road, Walton-le-Dale, admitted the offence at Preston Magistrates’ Court. He was fined £255, with a £15 victims’ surcharge, £100 costs and six points on his licence.
Drink driver in driving ban
A van driver has been banned from the road for being over the alcohol limit. Christopher Makinson, 31, of Watling Street Road, Ribbleton, Preston, admitted the offence at Preston Magistrates’ Court which banned him for 17 months.
