'If you prick us, do we not bleed? Tickle us, do we not laugh?'

Shakespeare will be coming to Leyland with an outdoor performance of the Merchant of Venice.

Dean Taylor Productions will be staging the Merchant of Venice in the beautiful grounds of Worden Park next week.

Director Dean Taylor said: "The setting could not be more perfect for staging outdoor Shakespeare."

Theatregoers are invited to bring a picnic and wine to enjoy the summer evenings.

Performances will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (July 7, 8, 9) at 7pm. There will also be a matinee on Wednesday.
