A man who set up a fake Facebook account in order to send a message to a woman he was banned from contacting has appeared at court.
Leigh James Carradice, 25, of Ambleside Road, Lancaster, was prohibited from contacting his victim, with whom he had three children, by a restraining order.
However a court heard on January 3 he set up an account using a fake name online.
Carradice’s guilty plea taken into account during the hearing at Preston Magistrates Court.
He must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
He must also pay a victim surcharge of £60 but no costs order was made.
