editorial image

Gritters will be out this evening to prepare for snow showers.

The Met Office is predicting snow will fall around Preston, Chorley and South Ribble from 9pm this evening.

Lancashire County Council’s gritting lorries will be doing precautionary treatment off all priority routes.

They will then work throughout the night patrolling key areas and gritting when necessary.

Met Office warnings for ice, sleet and snow will be in place until 9am Tuesday morning.
