County Hall bosses are set to consider how best to prevent floods across Lancashire.
Lancashire County Council’s scrutiny committee is due to meet on Friday September 14 to consider ‘flooding and flood risk management Lancashire’.
The committee which is chaired by County Coun Peter Britcliffe, will consider a report which will set out how flood risks should be best managed.
The County Council is classified as a lead local flood authority which has a responsibility for minimising flood risks and improving defences, working with other organisations.
