Parts of Lancashire have been left under water after stormy weather battered the region.
Flood warnings have been put in place after gale force winds and heavy rain caused chaos throughout the day.
In Penwortham the River Ribble burst its banks leaving playing fields at Penwortham Holme Pavillion submerged in water.
Elsewhere the main promenade in Blackpool was left under water following high tide and a tidal surge as severe gale force winds hit the resort.
The Environment Agency has more than 30 severe flood warnings in place across the country.
