Family evicted for son’s behaviour
A family has been evicted from their home for their son’s anti-social behaviour.
New Fylde Housing took action against the Fox family for failing to stop Jonathan Fox, 17, from causing anti-social behaviour whilst living in their home on Heron Way, Freckleton.
District Judge Knifton, sitting at Preston County Court, said: “There is no real prospect of any change in Jonathan Fox’s anti-social behaviour or that Mr or Mrs Fox will be able to control the behaviour of their son and be able to adhere to their tenancy conditions.”
Tammy Bradley, operations director for New Fylde Housing, said: “The action taken against the Fox family highlights our strong commitment to dealing with people who harass and intimidate our communities.
“Even if you do not partake in anti-social behaviour yourself, supporting those who do is of equal detriment to our neighbourhoods.”
