A man has been given a suspended jail term after admitting producing cannabis, possessing cannabis and a string of driving offences.
Peter James Wylie, 35, of De Lacy Street, Ashton-On-Ribble, Preston, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and taking a motor vehicle without consent
It followed an incident on September 23 in which he was caught driving a Ford Focus.
The bench at Preston Magistrates Court sentenced him to eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months and a four month curfew.
They also ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £80.
The court ordered the cannabis to be seized and destroyed.
