A motorist caught driving without a licence while not wearing a seatbelt has been fined £400.
David Wallace, 45, of Catforth Road, Catforth, near Preston, was proved guilty in his absence at South Ribble Magistrates’ Court of committing the offences in a Ford car in Water Street, Chorley on August 1 last year.
Magistrates fined Wallace £200 for each offence and handed him three penalty points.
He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £15 victim surcharge.
