Delays after lorry sheds load

Latest news from the Lancashire Evening Post

There were severe delays on a Lancashire motorway on Wednesday morning after a lorry carrying hay bales shed its load.

Police received a report about the incident on the M55 at 7.20am.

At 8.45am there was one lane closed and queuing traffic eastbound from junction three at Kirkham to junction one at Fulwood.

The matrix signs were set to 50mph.
