A Lancashire man has been killed after being involved in a collision while cycling.
The 46-year-old, who is from the Morecambe area, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident on the southbound A591 near Kendal at 8.15pm on Sunday.
A pair of cars travelling in the same direction collided with each other and the cyclist.
The road was closed for nearly seven hours while police carried out an investigation of the scene.
