Warnings after moped stolen

Motorbike and scooter owners are being warned to be vigilant against thieves after a red Yamaha moped was stolen from outside an address on Charnock Street, Preston. The moped, worth £1,000, was stolen between 11pm on Octoer 13 and 12pm the next day. Anyone with information should call Preston Police on 101.

Bike thief who struck at shop

A cutomer’s bike was stolen from outside the Adams and Son Newsagents on New Hall Lane, Fishwick, Preston. The bike was left outside the shop without being locked up when the thief struck between 8.15am and 8.25 pm on October 15. Anyone who saw the thief in action can call 101.

Shoplifter stole pack of steak

A thief walked into the Co-op store on Plungington Road, Plungington, Preston, and stole a packet of four steaks worth £20. The shoplifter was spotted helping himself by staff at around 5pm on October 15. Witnesses should call 101.
