Repair bill for Mini motorist
A motorist was left with a repair bill after vandals scratched down the entire length of a Mini Cooper car. It happened while the car was parked on Windermere Road, in Fulwood, Preston, between 2.45pm and 3.30pm on Thursday.
Vandals struck at city home
Yobs smashed the front window of a home on Shakespeare Road, Ribbleton, Preston. Police were called by the home owners after the vandals struck at 8.40pm on Thursday.
Bicycle was stolen from uni
A white Kona bicycle was stolen from outside the University of Central Lancashire, on Victoria Street, Preston. The thief stole the bike between 5.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday.
Yobs damage flat’s window
A house brick was thrown at the window of a home on Munroe Court in Ribbleton, Preston, causing damage to a UPVC window frame. Residents called police after the yobs struck at the flat between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday. No one is thought to have been in at the time. They are treating the incident as criminal damage. Witnesses are being asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Appeals after car vandalism
A motorist was left with a repair bill after vandals hurled a slab through a car window outside a home in Cottam, Preston. Police are appealing for witnesses after yobs struck outside a home on Dunnock Lane, between 3.45pm and 5pm on Thursday, and smashed the window of a Toyota Yaris car. Anyone with information should call 101.
Concerns have been raised over motoring offences carried out in the Moorfields Avenue area of Sharoe Green, Preston. Residents have told neighbourhood police officers that drivers are using mobile phones at the wheel and are speeding at peak times. Police have also been made aware of poor parking throughout the Sherwood area of Fulwood at all times of the day.
