Sweet toothed thief strikes
A woman stole a bar of Dairy Milk and a box of Quality Street chocolates from the Spar store on Plungington Road, Plungington, Preston. The shoplifter was spotted at 7.35pm on March 5 helping herself to the goodies. Police are appealing for information.
Vandals threw brick at home
Vandals who hurled a large stone through the window of a home on Grizedale Crescent, Ribbleton, Preston, are being hunted by police. It happened at 12.10am on March 6, police said.
Bike is stolen
A Carerra mountain bike was stolen from outside the McDonalds restaurant on Pedders Way, Ashton, Preston, at around 4.10pm on March 4.
Van thief stole phone off seat
A HTC Desire mobile phone was stolen after being spotted by a thief. The phone had been left on the front seat of a Ford Transit van parked on Hawkins Close, in Ribbleton, Preston. It happened at around 12.50am on March 7. Police are warning motorists not to leave valuables on display. Witnesses should call 101.
Appeal after bike is stolen
A gents Apollo mountain bike was stolen from Roebuck Street, in Ashton, Preston. A thief hacked the security chain off the bike, which had been left chained to railings. It happened some time 
between 3.15pm and 3.45pm on March 6. Anyone with information should call police in Preston.
Vandals threw brick at home
A brick was hurled through the lounge window of a home on Wanstead Street, Callon, Preston. Vandals struck at the property at around 9.50pm on March 7, officers said. Police are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101.
