Police action
An investigation has been launched into allegations of dangerous dogs and anti-social behaviour in the area around Kidsgrove and Tanterton shops in Preston. Officers are also looking into complaints of motorcycle nuisance in the area surrounding Wychnor golf course, said to be occurring during the early evenings and weekends.
Suspicious fire
Firefighters were called to tackle a car fire in Balmoral Road, Morecambe, at 9.20pm on Monday. The fire affected the Rover’s engine compartment, but it is not thought that the damage was severe enough to destroy the car. Crews believe the fire was started deliberately.
Lead stolen from building
Lead was stolen from the roof of a warehouse building under renovation in Preston city centre. It happened at Glovers Court between February 11 and March 1. Call police on 101.
Cyclist taken to hospital
A cyclist was taken to hospital with a broken collar bone and a leg injury following a collision with a Peugeot 206. It happened on Black Bull Lane, Fulwood, Preston, at 5.55pm on Monday.
