Wing mirror is broken by yob

Vandals smashed the wing mirror of a parked car.The Vauxhall Corsa was parked in Winckley Road, in Preston city centre, between 5pm on Thursday and 8am on Friday, when a yob kicked off a wing mirror and placed it on a nearby traffic cone. Anyone with information should call police on 101.

Purse stolen from city shop

A purse was stolen from a pram in a city centre shop. The purse which contained bank cards and cash, was stolen from a New Look shop in the St George’s Centre, in Friargate, Preston, between 12.45pm and 2pm on Thursday. Anyone with any information can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Bicycle stolen from takeaway

A Bomber bike was stolen from the front of a takeaway. The Raleigh Bomber BMX was left outside the Chillies shop in Blackpool Road, Ribbleton, Preston, between 6.30pm and 7pm on Thursday, when it was targeted by a thief. The yob approached the takeaway and escaped with the white-coloured bike which was believed to be a large size.

Thief gets into back garden

A thief climbed into the back garden of a home and stole a bicycle. The thief targeted a semi-detatched house in Miller Road, Ribbleton, Preston, between 8pm on Thursday and 7am on Friday. A ‘Trax’ BMX with a red frame and black wheels was stolen from the garden and the thief is believed to have escaped without being seen.

Yobs target a parked vehicle

A satellite navigation system was stolen from a parked car. The Audi A4 was parked in Chingle Close, Fulwood, Preston, between 5pm on Wednesday and 11am on Thursday, when it was broken into. A Tom Tom satellite navigation system was stolen.
