Time is running out to have your say on plans to overhaul the electoral wards of South Ribble.
The Boundary Commission wants to remove inequality, where some councillors represent significantly more, or fewer, than other member of the borough council.
The situation means that the value of a vote varies depending on where a person lives in South Ribble.
The Commission’s draft recommendations propose that South Ribble Council should have 50 councillors in the future, five fewer than the current arrangements.
The recommendations also outline how those councillors should represent 19 two-member and four three-member wards across the borough.
The public consultation on the recommendations will end on January 6.
