Snow will continue to fall across Preston and the surrounding areas today.
Flurries are expected to become heavier around 3pm, before becoming lighter later on.
The snow is expected to then hold off for the first half of the week, with brighter spells tomorrow, before more snow falls on Thursday.
Temperatures will hover around freezing, with lows of -4.
Chorley and parts of South Ribble are expected to experience the worst of the snow in the area for the rest of the day.
