CCTV images captured during a burglary at a pub in Rishton

Police have issued CCTV images captured during a burglary at a pub in Rishton last Thursday, 13th February 2014.

Sometime between 1am and 2am two men broke into the Rishton Arms Public house on Station Road and stole a quantity of cash from the premises. An empty safe was found nearby on Shawbrook Close.

The men also caused substantial damage to a number of gaming machines.

PC Simon Grounds said: “Our investigation is continuing but we are aware that the offenders spent some time in the area before breaking into the Rishton Arms.

“I would appeal to anybody that recognises the men in the CCTV or saw anybody acting suspiciously around the pub prior to the offence to contact me at Lancashire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log number 79 of the 13th February.”
