Rosemere Cancer Foundation is hosting its first Valentine’s Appeal collection events today.
The charity hopes to raise £30,000 for cancer equipment this February and local people are needed to help with collections and fundraising drives.
The Valentine’s Appeal, now in its third year, is a month long campaign that aims to raise vital funds for additional facilities and technology for cancer patients across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Rosemere also funds vital local research, helping to provide the best care possible for patients.
Various awareness raising and fundraising events will take place this month with local volunteers helping to make it happen.
Collectors are needed at the Morrisons supermarket at Preston Docks today from 10am to 3pm.
They are also needed at the Tesco Extra store in Towngate, Leyland today from 10am to 12pm or 12pm to 3pm.
And help is also required at the Morrisons store in Brooke Street, Chorley tomorrow from 10am to 12pm or 12pm to 3pm.
If you can spare a few hours contact Laura Stephenson on 01772 523598.
