Campaigners fighting to save Preston Bus Station have created posters to be displayed by businesses around the city centre.
Members of the Save Preston Bus Station campaign are planning to parade through the city in support of the Grade II listed building.
The posters and fliers promote the event, which will be held on Saturday, November 2.
Campaign member Professor Charles Quick said: “Now that Preston Bus Station has been listed we still need to convince Preston Council that the majority of people in the city want them to find a way to refurbish the building. We think that one way to do that is to show how many people are willing to visibly support Preston Bus Station. The aim is to have at least 2,000 people.”
Participants will meet in Lune Street at 11am before walking at noon to the Flag Market along Friargate.
Preston Council is still to decide what to do about the bus station, after the Government decided to grant the building listed status.
It could yet proceed with its original intention to demolish the building and build a new bus station in its place.
