Burglars steal bikes from garage

Latest news

Latest news

Two electric bikes and 500 bottles of liquid nicotine were stolen during a burglary at a garage in Thornton Cleveleys.

The thief got into the garage through an insecure side door, on Swan Drive, between 5pm on January 28 and 10.30am on February 1.

The burglar escaped with two electric folding aluminium bikes worth £700 each and 500 10ml plastic bottles of liquid nicotine in various flavours including coke, coffee, mint and vanilla used in electric cigarettes. Also taken was a barracuda snooker cue in a black leather case.

PC Ian Hill said: “I’d appeal to anybody that has seen any of this property or been offered any of the items for sale to contact police.

“The stolen bikes are relative rare and are under a year old. There were also large quantities of liquid nicotine taken which were stored in boxes so it is likely someone has also tried to offload these.

“I’d appeal to anybody with any information about this offence to come forward and contact Lancashire Police on 101.”

People with information can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
