Burglars break into house

Burglars broke into a house in Church near Accrington.

Four men wearing balaclavas, armed with a stun gun, went into a house on York Street at 7.30pm on Sunday, February 10,

They threatened two boys in the address at the time, aged 14 and 17 years old, and stole a wallet containing cash and credit cards.

The men drove off in a dark coloured vehicle, possibly a Golf or an Astra, in the direction of Lion Street. Fortunately, nobody was injured.

Detective Inspector Jill Johnston said: “If anybody has any information about this incident or knows the identity of the four men then I would urge them to contact police.”
