Five boys have been charged with arson after a fire caused £20m damage to a school.
Police said the boys, aged 11, 12, 13, 13 and 15, and all from Leyland, have all been charged with arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered, and arson with intent to endanger life.
They have been bailed to appear before Preston Youth Court on February 4.
The youths were arrested and bailed following the fire at Leyland St Mary’s Catholic Technology College in Royal Avenue in Leyland on Sunday, September 1.
The school was closed until the end of December and still needs extensive rebuilding work.
