Boy stabbed

A 15 year old boy was stabbed during an incident in Preston this afternoon.

At 3.45pm police received a report of a boy having been stabbed in the back near to the bus stop on Cadley Causeway. He suffered a number of stab wounds and is receiving treatment at Royal Preston Hospital.

His injuries are serious but not believed to be life threatening.
