Biker was more than two times over limit

A biker has been banned from the road for 20 months after he was caught more than two times over the drink drive limit.

Anthony Gildert, 30, of Aubigny Drive, Fulwood, Preston, was stopped by police and found to have 85mg of alcohol in 100ml of his breath when riding a Honda motorcycle in Wigan Road, Leyland on November 29 last year.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Gildert admitted committing the offence at Chorley Magistrates’ Court.

Magistrates fined him £255 and ordered him to pay a £25.50 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
