Police are trying to trace a man who saw a fight outside a town centre shop.

The fight broke out last Wednesday on Station Road, Bamber Bridge, outside the Spar store at around 5.30pm.

Two men were fighting outside the shop and a member of the public intervened before getting on the number 113 bus to Leyland and got off the bus at Centurion Way.

Officers are now keen to trace this man.

He is described as white, aged in his early 20’s, with a slim build with short light hair and was wearing a dark jacket and work boots.

Det Cons Richard Horton, from South Ribble CID, said, “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and contact the police.

“I am also keen to trace the man who intervened before boarding a bus to Leyland.”
