A benefit fraudster has been fined by magistrates after admitting two offences.
Sean Andrew Bowe, of Keepers Wood Way, Chorley, was ordered to pay £240 during an appearance before Preston Magistrates Court.
The 43-year-old admitted two offences of failing to notify the authorities of a change in his circumstances.
The court heard he failed to notify Chorley Council he had returned to full time employment between April 9, 2012, and February 12 2013.
The job affected his entitlement to Council Tax Benefit.
He admitted a similar offence between the same dates which affected his claim for housing benefit from the authority.
The bench ruled Bowe must pay a victim surcharge of £24 and costs of £85.
They took his guilty pleas into account.
