A woman has been told to carry out work regarding “alcohol issues” after assaulting another woman.
Cheryl Biggar, 30, of Railway Street, Leyland, was found guilty of the attack on her victim in Leyland on August 21 this year.
Biggar, who had denied the offence, was sentenced at Chorley Magistrates’ Court to a 12-month community order.
Magistrates said she must meet with a probation officer, who will give an update on her progress in six months’ time.
Biggar was also told to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £50 court costs.
