A teenager has been jailed for 60 days after breaking his ASBO.
Philip Williams, 19, of West Park Avenue, Ashton, Preston, admitted being in a public place with two males he was banned from seeing under the terms of his Anti-Social Behaviour Order.
Preston Magistrates’ Court heard Williams breached the order in Preston on October 2 this year.
Magistrates said the offence was “so serious” because Williams had “a flagrant disregard for court orders”, and because of his previous record of offending, and handed him 30 days in prison.
Williams also pleaded guilty to violating a supervision order, imposed when he was given a 12-month conditional discharge on September 17 for theft from a shop.
Magistrates gave him a further 30-day prison sentence, to be served consecutively, bringing the total to 60 days.
