Police want help tracing a man who has absconded from Kirkham Prison.

Daniel Pearson, 28, went missing from the prison in February, where he was serving an indeterminate sentence for a robbery committed in the Middlesbrough area in 2007.

He is described as being white, six foot in height, of slim build with green eyes and short brown hair.

Pearson is known to have strong links to Cleveland particularly the Middlesbrough area. Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: “If anybody has any information about the current whereabouts of Daniel Pearson then I would urge them to contact police as soon as possible.”

Anybody with any information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
