Appeal for man due to answer bail
Appeal: Julius David
Police are appealing for information to trace a man they want to speak to in connection with a kidnapping offence in Longridge last year.
Julius David, 30 of Fishergate Hill, Preston, was arrested following the incident on the afternoon of November 20 last year when a man was allegedly made to leave an address, forced into his van and made to drive around Longridge before being forced out of the van again in Preston.
David was due to answer his bail on Friday, March 1 but has failed to attend the police station and officers are doing all they can to trace him.
He is described as black, around six feet one inch tall and of slim build. He has a deep voice and a North West accent.
A police spokesman said: “We would appeal to anyone who thinks they see Julius David, not to approach him but to call police immediately.
“Similarly, if anyone knows him and knows of his whereabouts, we would ask them to get in touch either by calling us on 101.”
Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or going online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
