Appeal for man after break-in

Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Morecambe.

Between noon on January 31 and noon the following day, a man entered the property of an 88-year-old woman on Euston Road.

Once inside he took a quantity of money and a ring from a sideboard before being disturbed by the woman.

She asked him what he was doing before the man left. It was only the following day that the woman noticed £250 and a gold engagement ring had been stolen.

Police would now like to speak with Andrew Perry, 45, from Morecambe in connection with this incident.

Anyone with information can call police on 101.
