Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a motorcyclist broke his back in a road traffic collision in Padiham last Monday.
The collision occurred around 6.40am, at the junction of Dryden Street and Victoria Road, when a Blue Ford Focus collided with a Blue Yamaha 125cc motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital where he continues to be treated after breaking his back in two places. He also sustained a broken right arm.
Sergeant Claire Pearson, from Pennine Road Policing Unit, said: “I would appeal to anybody that witnessed this collision to get in touch with PC 1191 Neil Goodison at the Road Policing Unit, by ringing 101.”
