Appeal after man absconds from jail

Missing: Daniel Jamieson

Police are appealing for information about a man who absconded from Kirkham prison.

Daniel Jamieson, 29, went missing from HMP Kirkham on December 16 and has not been seen since.

Jamieson who is from the Greater Manchester area, was sentenced in September 2005 to an indeterminate prison sentence after being convicted of an offence of wounding with intent.

The offence was committed in the Sale Moor area of Manchester in 2005.

Call police on 101.
