Police in a Preston neighbourhood say they have now recovered more than £30,000 of drugs following a Christmas crackdown on crime.
Police from Lea carried out drugs raids at properties on Victoria Park Drive, Bridge Road, Norris Street, Garden Walk and Larches with cannabis plants found in each house.
Officers also found amphetamines in the house on Bridge Road.
Sgt Scott Archer of Lea Police, said: “This was in response to community related intelligence.
“We ran a crime prevention campaign and asked residents for information as part of Operation Baldur, Lea Police’s Christmas crime crack down.
“We have been overwhelmed by the response which has enabled us to secure several warrants. If residents are taking the time to tell us what their issues are then we have a duty to respond and have done so by executing raids. Four men have been arrested for production of controlled substances and I’m looking to seize their assets under the Proceeds of Crime Act.”
