Insolvency advice at Jobcentres
Moves to get Jobcentre Plus staff working with insolvency experts will help people whose jobs are under threat.
Matt Dunham, the North West regional chairman of industry body R3, said the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Jobcentre Plus and the Insolvency Service on sharing information would enable them to move quickly to help people back into work.
He said: "We know that the impact of redundancy on people can be devastating."
